That's a great idea about putting the grate in the self cleaning oven. Now I have to get the wifey a self cleaning oven so I don't have to scrub the grate from my grill.


126 - next time you need to replace the grate, go with the cast iron ones. They hold and distribute heat much better than those stainless ones. My inlaws moved and left me their all stainless grill. It's bigger and puts out more heat than my little Weber. I tried using it once and it sucked so bad I had to fire up my little Weber. The weber has cast iron grates....the other one has stainless grates.
