"F1: United States Set For New F1 Team?Written by: SPEED Staff / GMM

Charlotte, NC A new Formula One team is under wraps in America and set to be launched officially later this month, according to several outlets on Wednesday.
The team, whose logo can be previewed at usf1.com, is fronted by F1 stalwart and broadcaster Peter Windsor, and American Ken Anderson, of Indycar and NASCAR fame but also former Ligier technical director.
Briton Windsor, 56, is best known today as the pitlane contributor for SPEED's Formula One broadcasts, but he has previously worked as team manager for both Ferrari and Williams, winning the world title with the latter in 1992.
The website of British magazine Autosport, along with the German website motorsport-total.com, said USF1 intends to make its Grand Prix debut in 2010, and already has the blessing of F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone.
The team will have the slogan 'Made in America' and be headquartered in the heart of NASCAR country in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Reportedly, an agreement to use the new Windshear wind tunnel in North Carolina is already in place, while USF1 intends to be a showcase for American technology and US-born drivers."
Anyone know anything else about this? I know most NASCAR teams are in NC, but I can't see many (any?) NASCAR team going to F1...except the Captain (?). I know Penske has all of his race teams headquartered in NC. He did F1 before. What do you think? Is it Penske? If not, who?
And do you think
"Made in America" means an American engine? If so, who? Ford? I can't see GM doing it considering the mess it is in & Chrysler, no way.
For fun we might as well start speculating on drivers. Marco? Graham? I don't think either is ready or has proven himself. Who then?
