There's a '77 911 on Craigslist that seems to be in good condition. I know of all the problems with mid-year cars but this one was rebuilt by G&W Motorwerke in VA about 45k ago and they seem to have addressed the problem issues for the year in the rebuild.

Three questions for the group:
1. Assuming a professional rebuild, what does one expect in terms of reliability out of a properly cooled 2.7?

2. For those who have owned one; when maintenance issues are set aside, how do they compare in driving to earlier / later cars?

3. What would you expect to give for a well-cared for '77 with 45k on a rebuild?
