Moses, your dad is a WWII vet who's been there, done that, correct? Make sure your kids hear all the stories he's willing to talk about and sooner rather than later. The WWII vet (a German) who taught me the most about that period is not expected to live through the week. I just got word about it on Sat. He's had a very full life, even met Hitler as a child. He's a walking history book. I knew he wouldn't live forever. But I appreciate the countless hours we spent walking, eatching, chatting, whatever, even more now. You can't get that stuff anywhere else but from the folks who lived it.
