I have some autocross footage that was given to me on a DVD in .VOB format.
I was able to convert the file into .MPG and it plays fine in Window Media Player.
When I try to import the file into Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Encoder the file 'could not be imported'.
I'm trying to edit out a 1 minute sequence which I will compress with WME and then post on YouTube.
The file is currently 14 minutes long and 800mb's.
My finished 1 minute clip should be 12-18mb's once it is encoded in .WMV format.
I spent about four hours on this last night only to go to bed frustrated.
