Here are some older pictures of mine. I believe this conversion was done about 10 years ago so I had nothing to do with it. The body guys did a great job, whoever did the electrical (Probably the body guys) should be punished. I'm not sure how other people have done it but the bumper cover (and fenders) on my car is taller where it meets the hood than the original so the hood is at the correct height at the cowl and raised about an inch at he latch. So the seal makes contact at the cowl and falls away from the hood as it goes forward. I haven't figured out a way around this yet. It apparently didn't bother the previous owners and there is still no rust in the trunk. I actually pulled it on a trailer through about 1000 miles of stormy weather and it was dry when I got home. I drove it a few months later in a heavy rain and I did find some moisture though. The other major complication is the aluminum screen they used on the engine cover; I really need to find an alternative.
