I didn't get my tank from PAP, so you might be OK. I am not sure where the tank I bought was manufactured.
I would definitely check for fit before doing anything. I assumed it would fit would fit just fine and had taken the time to undercoat mine before installing which (as you can imagine) made the job even less enjoyable. Yuck!
