messed mine up about that age. very painful for a while, couldn't find any comfortable position while sleeping, etc. stupidly toughed it out and 20 years later it gives me a tweek now and then but it's not that big a deal. probably should have had it looked at, but i'm stubborn about going to doctors. i've developed a high pain tolerance being a mechanic.
