Look how many manufacturers of sports cars or high-end luxury cars have been bought up by Ford, etc. Then when things start going to hell and the bean counters start to freak, they get sold to companies in India and such. Porsche wanted to stay independent and Wendelin has provided them that protection in his strategy.
