I agree with you on the criminal versus civil standards. I would imagine a soft, wealthy guy would rather be broke, and not in prison, than in prison. I also would love to see this jerk penniless and destitute.
I don't think that a person with means will serve jail time, which is what I meant. I agree with you in that he will most likely lose civilly. My point was simply, the odds are in his favor.
