Sorry to hear all that, but you have most of everything in life that you need; family. I was in your position a year ago, 18 yrs and then out the door. But after a while, you start to spend less and somehow it works out. I take it your wife does not work(outside the house) which is one thing I had. I'm working for a lot less these days, but I'm enjoying it. I took the classes, got the certification and now I drive charter buses around the midwest. I love it. I might work 15 hour days for 4 days straight, but then have a week off. But its not really work, just seems that way. I'm at the age where I cant retire, but this job offers me the chance to work well past 65 if I want to, full or part time. Anyway, enough of me. Look to the family for all your strength and you will pull through. One door closes, another opens up.
