I went and handled a few today. No Brownings in stock. The Ruger didn't quite fit my hand right, but I suppose grips can be swapped. I did get to hold a S&W 41. Beautiful gun, but the grip shape is annoying. That is the problem with "anatomical" grips - if they don't fit you then they don't fit you. The S&W isn't cheap either. They also had some high standards from the 50's as well. Pretty nice. I'm heading to another shop to check out the Beretta Neos and a few other Rugers. They did have a Colt Woodsman but it was close to $2K.
While I was there I bought an 870 though, so it wasn't a total loss
Now off to the range...
