Good drummer, lot's of them out there.
What I can't really stand is when you hear an older band play a fantastic older song and they just slaughter it live. They add in a 30 piece orchestra, 12 backup singers and play it entirely different. I want to hear the song how it was played on the damn record. How I've heard and loved it for decades.
Funny someone put Peart up there, because Rush prides themselves to make the songs as accurate as possible live, as it is on the albums. And they succeed every time they step up on that stage. As for Peart's solo, it's a living breathing work of art that has evolved over decades. Some of the same elements you heard back in '81 are still in it. Brilliant.
