It certainly makes a change from a nodding dog.

Drivers were forced to do a double take when they found themselves behind these two calves squeezed into the back of a VW Golf.

The animals were being transported along a busy Austrian motorway by their owner.

The car had been converted especially to transport calves from his farm to pasture or to the vet, he explained, as icy blasts of wind in an open-air trailer would endanger the young beasts' health.

However, animal rights campaigners were unconvinced and accused the herdsman, from the Kufstein district, in Tyrol, of cruelty.

He pointed out that the police had given him the green light to do so.
The animals were warmer and more comfortable in the car, he added.
looks dangerous, i'd point them the other direction.
