You really can't go wrong with either the Browning or Ruger. I own a Ruger but I'm waiting for the Browning Target to become available in CA. The 5.5 inch is on the list but apparently the 7 inch model is not.

.22s are great way to target shoot without breaking the bank. Here's a not so good photo of my gun that I took at the range. It's a Mark III 678 Target Model.
