Earthlink or Prodigy - both good for dial-up. In both cases, you DO NOT need to load the software interface they send you. Just get the phone number and set up a regular Dial-up networking connection.
You could also look at getting a free e-mail account so that you do not have to be ISP dependent and if you feel like switching ISPs you won't have to worry about updating folks with your new e-mail address. Our host here on Pelican offers free e-mail!
Don't rule out DSL. Right now you are paying something close to $40/month for AOL and the second/dedicated phone line. You could dump the second line and get DSL for only $10 extra per month. I'm sure you can find a way to eliminate $10 in expenses every month.
