Opening this thread back up for some questions. I got a replacement hose for the return fuel line but to make the compression fitting behind the brake booster is going to really suck. So what I want to do is cut the hard line under the floor pan, remove the segment with the original rubber, replace the cracking hose with the new hose and provided compression fitting. Then splice the repaired segment back to the hard line under the floor pan. This is exactly what the PO had done with the HP send hose.
This shows the routing of both lines looking from drivers side.
This shows both line coming up the firewall.
This shows were the hard lines wrap under the drivers side floor pan. Note the fitting on the larger 10mm fuel supply line. I need to find a fitting just like this except 8mm for the return line. Does anyone here have a source for such an item? Thanks
