It is possible to do this, piece by piece, and get it up and running on another machine - I remember doing it once with a small app several years ago, but it's such a pain in the ass that it's not worth it.
If you don't have the original install CD, then I'd agree with other suggestions to just find a free, similar program online and use it instead. Start at download.com - there are tons of free, simple yet not limited image editing apps out there.
FWIW, from a legal standpoint, I believe installing software you legally own on 2 of your own machines is perfectly ok (for example, buy one copy of office, install it on your desktop and laptop). Morally, I'd say it's perfectly, 100%, completely acceptable. I've done it several times, and will continue to do so.
