The mercedes cooler is an excellent choice, once you have the -12 fittings installed, for motors up to 2.7 AND lots of air getting to it (if high compression)
Some of Behr units that mercedes uses are pretty large and would satisfy larger motor requirements
i am a little concerned with it being mounted under the car though. It would be in a very vulnerable spot.
