The lug nuts were properly torqued, they just happened to be the wrong ones. The threads engaged just enough of the stud threads to to take the proper torque, but not enough to actually hold Rcomps on under stress. ie SAE lugs on a metric car. So the note is... double check your parts when you receive them!
