I feel bad for the men/women in law enforcement. They'll be the ones that have to enact these revenue-generation policies on the front lines and bear the brunt of society's ire for it. Lousy way to be repaid for all the good work they do going after gangbangers and scumbags and thieves, but unfortunately it's a package deal and people are only going to see them "following orders" to bleed the public dry in order to fund the insatiable appetites of bureaucrats devoid of scholarship or vision.

Worse yet, traffic stops are the most dangerous part of police work. Most cops killed in the line of duty are killed while standing on the side of the road. I'd much rather take my chances in a gunfight once in a blue moon than do countless traffic stops every shift. That's dangerous stuff and the ROI ain't worth anyone's life.
