I'm sure you're right. It just seems like an awful lot of money.
However, its history is known - it's an American icon - and as you said, it's 1 of 6 that were built. Throw in the racing wins and I guess you end up with $15 million or whatever it will achieve. Incredible.
Auctions are the ultimate "what's it worth" barometer, so we will know soon enough. Should be fun to watch - I hope it's on TV.
