Just to give all of you a head up, I was completely ripped off by member paintwise1. I was bidding on a 78 SC decklid and at the last 10 seconds I was outbid. The winner e mailed me the next day to say that he found one locally and that he no longer needs the lid. He said that I could purchase it for the high bid, so I did. When I recieved the lid it looked like someone beat it up with a metal base ball bat, then ran it over with a truck. I have never seen such a piece of crap. I e-mailed him and he said that he sold it in good faith as is! I told him that I wanted a refund and that I was shipping it back to him. He never refunded me and stated that he will only relist it and give me the ending price minus his fees. Needless to say I am not protected through E bay since I was not the high bidder and it was over 30 days with paypal so I have no choice but to come up with other means of compensation, to take him to court.
