Still with the howling...
A couple of weeks ago I posted a question about a howling type of noise my car was making when started cold. The car is a 69S. The noise would go away when the clutch pedal was depressed. My guess was release bearing, and everyone else seemed to agree.
AARRGGHH... got the engine out and replaced release bearing and pilot bearing, put it all back together, fired it up,HOWLING STILL THERE.....
So, the question is, which bearing in the trans. stops making noise when the clutch pedal is pushed???
Any and all suggestions appreciated......
