Kids DO seem to recognize and appreciate these older 911's. I was waiting at a light in my black '84 just last week and as a couple of boys walked by, they both stared - I mean they slowed down and STARED. I've had similar things happen many times. I was rumbling through my neighborhood a couple of years ago and a small kid heard/saw me coming and got all excited exclaiming "it's a Porsh, it's a Porsh!". The little fellow's pronunciation didn't bother me a bit as I'm from the south and even though I try (and do use two syllables), I'm quite sure I don't pronounce it right either
