There are a bunch of other things, but these are supposed to help a lot with longetivity (especially the bypass filter - or so I've read). You might ask if some of these mods have been done to trucks you look at.
Marv, if you're still checking this thread: What is a bypass oil filter. Is it an extra filter plumbed into the system in addition to the regular oil filter? Same question on the Coolant and Trans filters: are they add ons? I get the Transmission cooler.
