I think this is more of a fluke, really. Someone (or two) who "wants one" and is ill informed....
I'm sure the new owner will be hearing his friends say, "You paid how much??!!", a lot. Puts me off having an S, sadly, if this is the trend of its values. A 2.7 Carrera seems the best deal to me as that is the closest to an RS, at the sacrifice of not looking as "pure" as the RS.
