My son lives there. He called last evening to let us know about it (we don't have tv). He was at the National Guard armoury getting ready to help block streets. I don't think the entire unit was deployed, he said he's to sit in a HumVee with another guardsman and tell people the street is closed. Not going to be armed, not a marshall law type thing.
He said three of the destroyed business were bars (may be some saddness in town over that) but were of the yuppie/upscale variety and he hadn't been in them very much.
