Fully agree, my Dansk 2/2 was very loud, and it drones awful.
When first fitted it was so loud I had to take it off, cut it open and pack it with e-glass there wasn't any in there !!!
Now it's a bit quieter and sounds really wicked, but still drones a bit.
If I could spend my money again in all honesty I would avoid Dansk.
