A couple of things:
I like how the song is "All Along the Watchtower", thats cool.
Did anyone else notice them paying tribute to the old BSG on last nights episode? At the Cylon colony, the Raiders taking when the Raptor landed with Harrah was old school.
In the preview it looks like Adama is giving his one way suicide mission pep talk on the flight deck of the Galatica, so they haven't ditched it by then, so the use it as a decoy may be correct.
I'm looking forward to some more battle scenes though....
