Wow - Thanks everyone for all the datapoints. This is exactly the type of information I was hoping for. I should have mentioned a bit about my configuration - 2.7 w/RS P&C (8.5:1), Webers, SSIs & Electromotive XDi2 Ignition. My next big project is 9.5 or 10.5 Compression and twin plug.
Since I don't do too many track events anymore, I'm not too interested in a muffler where I would need to cap off one side for around town since it would end up being that way most of the time, so there wouldn't be much point.

Are the mufflers displayed on your website the Gen5's? And when you say "those traits have disappeared" in response to Al's post, are you saying the Gen5 is similar (in sound) to the Dansk Sport 2-in 1-out which, according to Al, "Sounds great, not too loud w/nice tone and no drone"? Of course as Al pointed out what sounds great with his configuration might not carry over to mine, not to mention the subjective nature of this whole topic
