VIN number plate MISSING!!
In response to my last forum "Location of VIN #", I found that my car is MISSING the VIN plate. There are two small screw holes by the latch for the front hood, which means it was there at one time. Is there ANY way I can get a VIN number from the Porsche factory or anywhere else? I have the real VIN number on the Certificate of title. Is there anyway I can get them to make me a new one if I send a copy of the certificate of title, or anyone know what I can do? This could be a very nice original car when I'm finished restoring (cleaning) it, I'm the second owner.
