I highly recommend PODS. We used them to move. Had about 3 weeks between closings. Movers quoted almost $10,000 to pick up, store and deliver. We paid about $2000 for 2 PODS (they were moved from AL to SC) and then paid a local moving company $200 to unload the heavy stuff. The other benefit is you can pack and unpack at your own pace. They charge per month doesn't matter if it is in your driveway or their storage facility.
