Hello, just thought I'd tap the "collective brain" of this forum before shotgunning parts at my car.
I had to leave my car out for a few days in the rain, and when I returned to fire it up, it ran really rough. I pulled the code and it said #1 mis-fire. I let it sit for a couple days and then drove it, and everything was fine until I was 10 minutes down the road, then same thing. So it wasn't water. Pulling it all apart, everything looks fine ( and dry) with the ignition system.

Question: How can I test a coil, and are they a common culprit? Any other suggestions?
