I'm hoping the next two episodes are well-written and do justice to this series...
- Failure of the cylon goop - interesting. Makes me wonder if the "dying leader" is maybe Galactica itself?
- Hera/opera house/Cabal - there has to be more to this. To just end the show with Hera in the hands of the "human-unfriendly" cylons is a bit of a let-down. Should be something else here (I suspect there will be).
- Anders/hybrid. Again an interesting development. Maybe the cylon goop with "neural interfaces" will start developing further, giving him more complete control of Galactica and maybe saving it (?) in the end... That can go a few directions. Some interesting, some less so.
- Still an awful lot of unresolved stuff surrounding Starbuck. How will she "lead them all to their ends", and who exactly are "them"? What's the deal with her dying and coming back? The whole "all of this has happened before and will happen again" stuff... I hope they make something cool/interesting out of this.
- I keep wanting to believe that "Earth" wasn't really earth at all, but I don't see how - the constellations, star patterns, visible continents from the end of last season - all pretty clearly made it "earth" (as in the real one that we're all standing on right now).
- Religious war between the monotheists and polytheists? Some potential for interesting development here.
- Cabal now has Hera, Boomer AND (presumably) the intel on the human fleet - including the knowledge that Galactica is crippled and cannot jump away. Since Boomer knows the location, what's stopping them from jumping in with everything they've got and wiping out the rebel cylons and the rest of the human fleet once and for all?
