Why would it drive like a tractor? It's a 2006 Duramax truck w/ a body swap. Everything other than the body is a 2006 truck w/ very low miles. It would drive and handle like a dream. All accessories and systems should work fine, he only switched the body. There is incredible craftsmanship in this thing with the way he blended the modern parts of the interior with the old truck's dash. I'm really critical of detail work on street rod projects, it's what separates the $100k works of art from (most) of the rest of them.
If I had the $$, I'd pull the trigger on this in a heartbeat. In a different setting I think it would be worth a lot more, and never really less.
Paul, They've never made a new Suburban Duramax. Beats the hell out of me why not(?) New loaded Duramax PU trucks can list for ~$60k, so $30k wouldn't get you close to a new (hypothetical) Suburban w/ this drive train.
