another diesel ?- is this a deal?Chevy dually
I have been toying with the idea of getting a cheap dually or 3/4 ton truck to eventually pull a car trailer and possibly a RV in the future. I already have a great daily driver, my SC and a 914 in the works so I'm not looking to spend a ton. I have found local to me a 1997 Chevy dually 2 wheel drive extended cab with 141,000 miles. From the pics I've seen it looks like it's in good shape with no obvious damage,broken glass etc. I've asked for more details before I go look at it but they are asking $3800.00. A few weeks ago they were asking $4500.00 so the economy is taking its toll. So does this sound like a decent buy? Are there any major problem areas on this vintage Chevy diesel? Your feedback is appreciated.
