How about this for a possible scenario.... Early S's that are in original, or close to original condition in many/most/a lot of cases change hands privately and quietly for a lot more "monet" than all other early 911s- which transactions are much more common and published..
As an owner, not interested in selling, I am still interested in appreciation of my car over time.. as are most of us I assume.
