No, I disdain stuff like that, I always have. Any properties I have worked on in the past in wealthy areas have been classics or historically significant. I walk on by when I see junk like that pool. BTW, I've had 3 pools, none on a cliff mind you, but I'd never own one again. In these times, a personal pool is an excess the world can no longer sustain indefinitely. In SoCal, we have not enough water to go another year w/o severe rationing. How else would I think under the circumstances?
And, I'll bet these pools are heated, but not covered. What would be the point of covering an infinity pool? Well, the carbon foot print of something on that order would be something to be ashamed of. I don't care if it's natural gas or not. And look at the electricity being used by the lighting and the pump(s).
I say fill 'em all in and install a putting green with subsurface irrigation.
