You need your own place. After I moved out of the dorms I moved in with one of my buddies. He was clean and responsible. We moved in with a girl that I worked with. SHe was also pretty good. She moved out and the guy that replaced her was horrible (she and I worked with him). My college buddy and I eventually moved out to a 2 br place. We managed to mostly get along great for quite some time until I left the area. Finding a decent roommate can be a nightmare, and often "friends" are the best way to go about it. I have a work colleague that I think I could be a roommate with if he and I weren't both married, but if I was ever single again, I'd just be on my own.
