HardDrive, you need to wake up. If you're angry that a piece of mainstream art found it necessary to blatantly point out the flaws in our contemporary culture, you might as well throw away your TV, burn all your books, and lock yourself in your basement with a deck of cards for the remainder of your years. There are two main purposes of art: to inform and entertain; since the beginning of time, the art that has endured has been the art that has accomplished both of those purposes simultaneously.

As George Orwell wrote (and I'm paraphrasing because I don't feel like tracking down the quote right now), "all writing is, by nature, political writing"; he meant "political" in the broadest possible sense, and he's right.
