I understand that you feel that someone disrespected you by not respecting your property but chances are that your son didn't know about it and had nothing to do about it. All I am saying is that it's really not that bad, just tell his dumb ass to clean it.....if you trust him to be in your engine bay.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at all. In fact, I'm pleased my son had the brains to have his friends stay over, versus driving home! The beer on the car doesn't even really bother me, its a 25 y/o Targa in OK shape. I was just a little disappointed in my son's response, or lack thereof. Nothing more. Besides, the post had Porsche content.

As far as trusting him to be in my engine compartment, yes, very much, he helped me pull the engine in it and helped me rebuild my Aston Martin DB4, before I sold it a year or so ago.
Edit:
Kid came home from work and said "Dad, I don't know what I was thinking, I was rushed to get to work. I'd definitely like to wash your car, clean the engine compartment, and clean the garage floor" He also said he would have ***** slapped anyone if he'd seen them parking a beer on my car.
