Somebody got it to work well...........Looks like a fast car to me

"very light and well sorted race winning car. SCCA and NASA legal"

SCCA Legal.... in what class??? The most radical road racing class would be GT2, and I quote...
GCR 9.1.2.D.1.b Induction System
The specified carburetor(s) or specified fuel injection may be modified. The number, model, type, throttle bore and/or venturi restriction shall remain as specified....
The Porsche pages of the GT Category Specifications show that all 2 valved, SOHC, engines require "(2) Weber-type w/ XX mm chokes". That surely does not look like a "Weber Type" carb to me. There are two exceptions which curiously say "Automotive type" instead of "Weber-Type", but the car pictured still fails even that due to the number of carbs.

If you're going to hold an "SCCA Legal" race car up as an example, it should at least be SCCA legal!
