Not sure about the 2204 cars But 1999-2008 all have the same basic IMS design in the M-type engines. Porsche has been modifying, seals, # of rows, and mounting methods to reduce the risk, but it is still there.
The new 2009 9A1 type engines have eliminated the IMS.
