My carbon foot print just got a lot bigger

Got the body panels in last week and finally unpacked everything over the weekend.








Now the fun can start...beginning with the front bumper. Did you guys trim the flange that covers the latch panel? Mine are about 1/2 inch wider on each side. I wonder if it was meant to be trimmed to fit in between the tub flanges or if it was meant to sit on top of the flange where the fenders bolt (since the hood and fender line is higher than stock).
