I haven't fully digested the plan, but it seems to make sense, and the market's collective assessment (which I will humbly assume to be better than my own

) seems to be pretty good.
But here's something I read that seemed to be an interesting idea:
Why not allow individual investors to participate (rather than just the managers of this "Hedge Fund"? Couldn't the government reduce some of it's TARP fund commitments by structuring this deal to allow for individual investors via some fort of ETF or something?
