Nothing wrong with new diversions but it needs to be done right. If you take a poll, you'll find that most Pelicans do not like the new design. There's also nothing wrong with Porsche making a 4 door or an SUV. Where they're falling down is that they're trying to incorporate too many 911 design elements into their designs. When I saw the first drawings of the Panamera, I thought "Wow". Now it's looks like a test mule.
Porsche's marketing has always been about engineering and heritage. Lose the heritage and it just becomes another car company with great engineering....just my 2 cents.
