WAIT A MINUTE...

Did I read that article right? All US cars are automatics? No manual transmission option at all?

When you consider who will most likely be driving these, (bailed out bank execs off to spend their recent bonus, suburban housewives, etc.) and the fact that the PDK actually shifts faster than the manual and saves fuel. It makes perfect sense. I'm sure there will still be a flappy-paddle gearbox - oh wait it's a PDK - so I guess it will have flappy-steering-wheel-button thingys.
