We can spew examples back on foth on this. For example, a relative small number of states allow a very narrow "mistaken age" defense in statutory rape cases. Most do not. Interestingly, I do not think any jurisdiction allows a mistake defense when it comes to contracts; i.e., someone lieing to buy/finance a car.
FWIW, to my knowlege the 17 y.0. I referred to did not sign a release. So what if we couch her complaint in terms of an unjust enrichment lawsuit? He made millions off of her on camera antics and all she got was a little booze and blow for her efforts. Would you be more comfortable with that theory of recovery?
