Some people might accuse TABS of being full of doom and gloom among other things. Tabs only writes about what he sees happening, the truth of the matter as it were. He doesn't claim to be always right, but presents the probable outcome of events as they unfold.

In 1980 TABS had an epiphany while sitting out by the pool at Mothers house. He said Hallejulah I see it now... the US government is going to continue to do business as usual no matter what the circumstances. That deficit spending would continue unabated going forward. At that time TABS analysis wasn't as sophisticated as it later became, he didn't realize where this frame of thought by the elected represenatives of his country began. Ironically it was at that time that TABS realized that Spoons would be a good investment going forward, and that there would be a 30 year time horizon for his collecting.

Now we can skip forward a decade or two to 9/11/2001. It was after 911 that TABS once again was able to part the clouds of future events and start telling everyone who would listen...wink, wink nudge nudge...that the USA was facing the a likely Great Depression brought about by a crisis of LIQUIDITY.
